Cecilia obtained her associates from Tulsa Community College in 2020 and graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2023 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Tulsa. While at the University, Cecilia served in various roles: President of the TU Vietnamese Student Association, Research Assistant in the Study of the Prevention, Adjustment, and Resilience to Trauma and Adversity Lab, and the social media manager of the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Tulsa organization. She is most passionate about Asian-American mental health research, empowerment of marginalized communities through community-based initiatives, and DEI education. Cecilia is excited to join Tulsa Service Year as the fellow for Leadership Tulsa where she will contribute to meaningful leadership development and DEI education. In her free time, Cecilia loves playing guitar, cooking/eating, going on spontaneous adventures, and spending quality time with loved ones.
