Jerakah Greene

Jerakah Greene (they/them) is an incoming TulsaService Year fellow, joining TPS in bettering the education of Tulsa students.They became interested in arts and education after tutoring art students inEnglish and writing for two and a half years. Upon graduating college, Jerakah knew they wanted to continue this work in Tulsa. They are thrilled to joinTulsa Service Year in fulfilling this dream. After their Tulsa Service Year fellowship, Jerakah chose to stay in Tulsa and works for Tulsa Public Schools.

 

Jerakah holds a B.A. in Creative Writing fromColumbia College Chicago, where they minored in Literature, and GenderStudies. 

 

Jerakah is, first and foremost, a writer. Their work can be found in Crabfat Magazine, Impossible Archetype Issue6, The Lab Review, and on the F(r)iction Log. They also have work forthcoming in Hair Trigger, where they were the reviews editor in the fall of 2018.
